Freedom from Settling

"Settling is no longer an option when you remember whose you are."

Worldly identity convinces us: "This is as good as it gets. Be realistic. Don't rock the boat." So we settle for half-lived dreams and quiet discontent.

Kingdom Identity shouts: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" (Philippians 4:13). It calls us to stop enduring and start pursuing the abundant life Jesus promised.

Settling is no longer an option when you remember whose you are. Your buried dreams? They are actual Kingdom assignments waiting to be resurrected.

Has This Happened to You?

One day, we hear our own voice asking, "Is this the life I'm supposed to be living?"

Be honest with yourself — are you going to live the rest of your life just as it is now? Or do you have a gnawing sensation in the pit of your stomach that causes you to yearn for something different?

In the waking hours of the morning, you see flashes of old visions and ideas you are not living but wish you could! Then your "reasonable voice" says, "You are doing okay — you have a good life. Don't buy into crazy ideas you know won't work!"

You decide to settle again for what you got and justify why you can't change what is comfortable and easy for you. After all, you've spent your lifetime pursuing this career or building this business — you can't change that now!

But… the next morning, you see the same flashes of ideas and visions of what might have been. You begin to wonder if there may be a reason these old, buried ideas and visions are revealing themselves now. You thought you had buried them deeply enough that you wouldn't have to face them again.

This is what SETTLING looks like.

This happened to me, and to every woman I coach. At some point, we asked God, "Is there a life I'm supposed to live, different from the one I'm currently living — what is the RIGHT plan for me? I'm listening, and I want to do life your way."

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

— Ephesians 2:10

He will move mountains to bring His special assignment — true destiny and purpose — into your life. He will give you His perspective on life and restore your Kingdom identity.

You can experience freedom from settling and live the life God meant for you!

What have you been settling for that God is calling you to release?

Stop Settling. Start Living.

Your buried dreams are Kingdom assignments. Let's resurrect them together and walk boldly into the abundant life Jesus promised.
